I am happy to have my dear friend and colleague of 20 years, Martha Taylor, as a new contributor to The Power of the Purse. Martha is a vice president of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and helped start the first women's philanthropy initiative in the country at a public university in 1988. She also cofounded the Women's Philanthropy Institute at the Center of Philanthropy at Indiana University and is coauthor of our new book, Women and Philanthropy: Boldly Shaping a Better World.
